Our Mission

To preserve and celebrate Delaware’s rich heritage through art, writing, and community engagement. We believe that creativity connects us to our past and inspires our future.

A Historic Location

The Original Golden Fleece Tavern

Parke Green Galleries stands on hallowed ground. This is the site of the Original Golden Fleece Tavern, where Delaware delegates gathered to ratify the Constitution, making Delaware the First State on December 7, 1787.

Today, we honor this legacy by creating art that tells the stories of Delaware’s past while building a creative community for its future.
